Ham House - History and Cultural Studies

In December our first assignment for History and Cultural studies was given out. Out of three separate questions to choose from, I naturally chose the landscape architecture related question which related to Ham House and gardens in Ham (below Richmond). I went on a visit to the house and it's gardens as it was recommended to further help with the answering of the question.The house is a beautiful surviving example of 17th century architecture and I recommend anyone should take a look if they are in the area and have a bit of time to spare.
