Wey and Arun Canal Trip

In October 2008 landscape students from all years were invited on a trip aboard canal barges for four nights along the Wey and Arun canal network in Surrey and West Sussex. Whilst moored up at Dapdune Wharf during the day, we went on day visits to nearby locations including the historic town of Goldalming and also to Munstead Wood, House and Garden. The trip was not only great opportunity to see some of the English countryside and historic towns but also a great opportunity to make some new friends of all ages,. I even got a chance to brush up on my sailing skills!
