This brief project looked at the outside of the Laban dance centre in Deptford, south London.
The landscape outside the Laban centre has some amazing geometric shapes that compliment the contemporary design of the building itself. We used this site as a means to explore some interesting grading designs and techniques. Through working in small groups, we grew on our site analysis skills by accurately measuring the shapes, gradients, contours, slopes and spot heights.
